Biography
Michelle Romero has served as the Mayor of Henderson, Nevada, since 2023. She succeeded Debra March following the latter's departure from the office. As the chief executive of Nevada's second-largest city, Romero oversees municipal operations for a rapidly growing suburb of Las Vegas.
Prior to her election as mayor, Romero represented Ward I on the Henderson City Council from 2019 to 2023. She holds a bachelor's degree from Upper Iowa University and has worked as a business owner in the private sector. She has no recorded military service.
